What English Means to Me
The meaning of English is reading and writing. It is for understanding things. You will be lost if you don’t understand what people are saying. You study English to widen your vocabulary and better understand grammar. Also, working on how to write papers, essays and improve on these skills. English is words. If you want to communicate, you need to know how to do this.
English is used every single day. You will be expected to write papers in classes. Without practicing English, you will not be successful at college, jobs, and even your future career. This is why it is important for university bound students to have English for four years.
By excelling in English, I will use better grammar and vocabulary and understand more complex words in books, magazines and even talking with people. I will get better grades, it will help me in future, help me to be successful in finding and maintain a quality job.
